The University awarded a contract for CBORD software and hardware maintenance..
This is for existing campus wide software and hardware maintenance for the university dining center and card services.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) This software and maintenance will support the university menu management system, card services and point-of-sale system.
