The University awarded a contract for Academic Global Research Membership.
Illinois State University will consolidate its existing academic memberships with EAB into a single Global Research Membership to share strategies, recruitment data, student outcomes, curriculum and innovation and optimization of academic resource allocation. This membership replaces exemptions posted for EAB COE, Academic Affairs, and Enrollment Management Forums.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for membership in professional, academic, research, or athletic organizations on behalf of a public institution of higher education, an employee of a public institution of higher education, or a student at a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(1)) The Office of the President desires membership to promote academic leadership and strategy within Illinois State University.
