The University awarded a contract for a live musical performance by Blackbear.
The University will contract with Bear Trap Touring, Inc for a live musical performance by Blackbear.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) Blackbear will provide a live performance as a kickoff for Homecoming week October 21, 2021.
