The University awarded a contract for Academic and Clinical Medical Services.
The University is in need of academic and clinical medical servcies to perform academic and educational services supervising medical students and residents at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) The University is in need of a licensed physician to practice medicine in the State of Illinois, with residency training and board certification in Family Medicine to perform academic and educational services supervising medical students and residents at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.
