The University awarded a contract for healthcare planning support.
Provides UI Health with unlimited, direct, and immediate access to analysts, researchers, and senior consultants to discuss any practice or run deep on unique issues. Optum staff are available to provide follow-up support and networking contacts, as well as share documents obtained during the course of research. Membership access is utilized to identify best practice research on health care strategy in an all-inclusive membership model comprehensive of research studies, webinars, cohort networking, and annual meetings.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for membership in professional, academic, research, or athletic organizations on behalf of a public institution of higher education, an employee of a public institution of higher education, or a student at a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(1)) Membership access is utilized to identify best practice research on health care strategy in an all-inclusive membership model comprehensive of research studies, webinars, cohort networking, and annual meetings to optimize patient care at UI Health.
