The University awarded a contract for Mental Health services for Winnebago County Jail.
The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford has the contract for the day to day management and operation of the medical services unit that administers the Winnebago County Jail Inmate Health Care Program. Mental Health services are part of the comprehensive medical plan required by this contract provided by Rosecrance Health Network Inc.

Funding for this vendor is provided by Winnebago County. The vendor is mandated by the funding source
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for events or activities for which the use of specific vendors is mandated or identified by the sponsor of the event or activity, provided that the sponsor is providing a majority of the funding for the event or activity.
