The University awarded a contract for research access services from the hosting entity .
The University's Institute for Health Research Office received a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. To achieve the grant objectives access from the hosting server of the "Bridging the Gap" website is needed from the vendor, Clockwork Active Media Systems Inc.

The grant funding source has mandated the use of this specific vendor.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for events or activities for which the use of specific vendors is mandated or identified by the sponsor of the event or activity, provided that the sponsor is providing a majority of the funding for the event or activity.
