The University awarded a contract for removal & installation of video boards.
Removal of existing Pavillion video board and installation of the new video boards purchased from Northwestern University under exemption JMG 437.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) The video boards will be used by or for by UIC for events and productions at the Pavillion.
