Project Description
The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking Professional Service Consultants (PSC) to provide the planning, design, bid/award, construction phase, and warranty services for the Multiple Building Roof Replacement FY2019. This project shall replace the existing membrane roof systems in the areas noted in the program statement and related assemblies of the four buildings noted below. This will include the replacement of roofing system including flashing, metal fascia, etc. as required to provide a complete, contemporary, water tight installation in accordance with the University Facility Standards. In addition, each building will have specific areas of work and investigation noted in the program statement.
Other items incidental to the above scope of work include:
Assess and provide remediation procedures for any hazardous materials, including but not limited to asbestos and lead, which may be encountered as a part of this roof replacement project.
The PSC shall develop a design and construction schedule coordinated with and approved by the Owner which minimizes disruption to the daily operation, research and classes scheduled in the buildings.
