The University awarded a contract for production services for undergraduates.
The University would like to procure production services to host gatherings for undergraduates to gather in a safe environment.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for athletic, artistic or musical services, performances, events, or productions by or for a public institution of higher education. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(4)) The University would like to be able to provide a safe place for undergraduates to gather during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
