The Board of Trustees at Chicago State University on behalf of Administrative & Financial Affairs Department is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide management services for the Emil and Patricia A. Jones Convocation Center for a period of 2 years commencing on March 15, 2007 through March 15, 2009, with an option to renew for 1 additional 5-year period based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds.
The University will hold a mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit in the Emil and Patricia A. Jones Convocation Center at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Room 1306 (lower level Training Center at the north end of building). Representatives of the University will be present to answer any questions regarding the services requested or proposal procedures. Prospective proposers must respond via e-mail to Nathan Tindall at on or before Tuesday, January 23, 2007 with firm name and number of attendees. A maximum of 3 representatives from each firm may attend. Representatives must wear hard hats and wear appropriate shoes to tour building. Proposals submitted by companies not in attendance at mandatory conference will not be accepted.

During the site visit each proposer shall fully acquaint and familiarize itself with the conditions as they exist and the character of the operation to be carried out under the resulting contract.

Submit six copies of the response as defined in the specifications. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.
