Project Description
Architectural Services for renovation of three or more science and nursing laboratories in the existing Williams Science Center on the CSU campus.
This project envisions the renovation of three or more existing science and nursing laboratories to create state-of-the-art facilities to be located in the existing Science Center at Chicago State University at 9501 S. King Drive in Chicago, Illinois. Scope of services is limited to design and schematics for the laboratories to be constructed over three or more fiscal years and subject to the availability of appropriated funds. The goal is to create student-focused teaching-learning and research laboratories that are sensitive to the current and future needs of Chicago State University and the science disciplines of biological sciences, chemistry, and physics and nursing. Sustainable design elements are considered an important aspect of the design process. It is expected that this request will be completed by mid-February, 2010.

- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- Utilize an AutoCAD compatible system to provide documents.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
