The Board of Trustees of Chicago State University is requesting proposals from a qualified individual to provide Federal Governmental Services to Chicago State University for one(1)year. The contract date to begin approximately January, 2011 and continue for a one year period from the date of execution; with options to renew on a yearly or multiple year term with a total contract term not to exceed five years, based on satisfactory performance, continuing need, and availability of funds. The services of the contractor (federal congressional relations liaison) is needed to represent the interests of the university to members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation and selected members of Black Caucus and other Federal government officials and administrators.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
