The Board of Trustees of Chicago State University is requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide State Governmental Services to Chicago State University for a nine month period beginning September 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012, availability of funds. The services of a contractor (state governmental liaison) are needed to represent the interests of Chicago State University to members of the Illinois Congressional Delegation, Selected members of Black Caucus and other governmental agencies located in Illinois.
Note: Proposer must complete the down loadable Bidderâs Application, Vendor Disclosure of Financial Interest and State Board of Elections certificate. Failure to complete and return these forms with Proposerâs response will result in its being considered non-responsive to this solicitation.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
