Project Description
The Board of Trustees of Chicago State University, request submission of qualifications from interested architects and engineers to provide design services for Chicago State Universityâs Center for Urban Agriculture, Ecology, and Alternative Energy.
Scope is to provide Architectural/Engineering Services for a comprehensive, fast track, phased approach to the renovation of an existing building located on 9601 S. Cottage Grove to the Center for Urban Agriculture, Ecology, and Alternative Energy. Design to include Space layout, MEP upgrades, and all necessary building improvements to accommodate and enhance the Centerâs operation.
The University will conduct a mandatory site visit at the existing building located at 9601 S Cottage Grove, Chicago, IL, 60628 at 9:30am on Tuesday, May 01, 2012. No one will be admitted after 9:45am. Failure to attend will result in the disqualification of your firm. Representatives of the University will be present to answer any questions regarding the services requested or proposal procedures. A maximum of three representatives from each firm may attend.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
- Submitted 7 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
