This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which
public health or safety was threatened.
The institution requires the emergency purchase of NCAA Group Basic Accident Medical insurance coverage for student-athletes which is necessary to continue operation of its intercollegiate athletics program in a manner that mitigates significant health and financial risks and is in the best interest of the institution.
