The University awarded a contract for Heat Exchangers.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which public health or safety was threatened.
The heat exchangers that provide hot water to the Dormitories and Student Union Building have failed. Chicago State University has contracted to temporarily rent a unit to supply hot water to these buildings until a permanent replacement can be obtained. The heat exchangers do not function and are at the end of their useful life. Chicago State University wishes to replace the heat exchangers for these buildings.
