The Board of Trustees of
Chicago State University
hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the
mechanical ventilation remediation project.
The project consists of making modifications to the Student Union Building mechanical and ventilation system, providing a roof top air handling unit and making associated ductwork, piping and electrical modifications. Included in this scope of work is all of the required selective demolition work as well as replacement/reinstallation of affected finishes. Bid documents may be obtained by delivering a $100 deposit check to the architect:

Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked mechanical ventilation remediation.
Bids will be received up to the hour of
12:00 PM
local time, on
Wednesday, October 30, 2002.
Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
All bids must include:
- Bid security (see complete bid for details)
- All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the
Illinois Department of Human Rights.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on October 9, 2002 at 10:00 AM in the Student Union Building Rotunda.
