The Board of Trustees of Chicago State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Conference Center (Project #814-010-062) project.

Appropriated Amount: $5,000,000
Estimated Total Project Cost: $5,000,000
Professional Liability Insurance Required: $1,000,000
Project Fee Classification: Group II N

Chicago State University is an 859,020 square foot, 11 building campus constructed in 1970.

The scope of work provides for constructing an approximately 30,000 square feet Conference Center including an 800 person banquet area 1,200 person lecture hall, a catering kitchen, control booth for lighting and sound, a waiting/gathering area and registration/administrative space.

All submitting firms should include their teams, staff and/or consultants with the necessary expertise to perform the scope of services.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Monday, September 6, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
