Project Description
The Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University requests submission of qualifications from interested engineers to provide environmental consulting. This consultant will provide air, water and noise environmental services related to air and water and will work with the University on matters between the University and EPA. The consultant shall also be capable of doing environmental modeling and testing. The University currently has multiple emissions sources which include a new steam plant which contains two natural gas boilers and two biomass boilers, an existing steam plant with one natural gas fired boiler and three decommissioned coal boiler, smaller boilers located on campus and fuel storage tanks.
