Eastern Illinois University is accepting bids for the above project. Sealed bids will be received until November 29th, 2012, 2:00 P.M. prevailing time in the Department of Procurement, Disbursements and Contract Services, Room 1135 Old Main, at which time they will be opened and read publicly.
A âpre-bidâ conference is scheduled at Andrews Hall, located at the Northwest Corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 7th Street, Charleston, Illinois 61920 at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012 in the lower level. Note: Use east building entrance. No special parking arrangements have been made.
Scope of Work:
The complete removal of the existing parking lot and appurtenances and the construction of new combination concrete curb and gutter, hot-mix asphalt pavement with aggregate base, PCC sidewalk, storm sewer, downspout & sump pump drainage system, temporary safety fencing, erosion control and other work as listed in the plans and specifications.
