for an irrigation system for the softball field and rugby field (Bid # KR017096). Work shall include the complete installation of an automatic underground irrigation system at the softball and rugby fields. This includes all main supply water piping, valves, fittings, terminations, electrical wiring, and 120 v. and low voltage required to operate the irrigation system from the main electrical delivery point. Work shall include the installation of the water main service from the pump house to the separate fields to be irrigated. The owner will install all electrical power to the controlling devices.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
A pre-bid conference will be scheduled at the pavilion on the west side of the rugby field at Eastern Illinois University at 10:00 a.m. on August 15, 2002.
