The Illinois Pulic Higher Education Coopertive (IPHEC) is a cooperative of Illinois Public State Universities consisting of 15 campuses which combine their buying requirements to create major long-term contracts to benefit both IPHEC Member Universities and their contracted vendoors.
It is anticipated that 6 of the 15 IPHEC vendors will initially be participating in this food prime vendor contract. The successfull vendor shall be able to provide food and food service items to participating universities throughout the contract term.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on October 23, 2006 at the Florida Avenue Residence Hall (FAR) Olgesby Pagoda at 1001 College Court, Urbana, IL at 10:00 a.m. A diskette with the RFP in a Word and Excel document will be provided to each company represented at the mandatory meeting.
