The Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide communications consulting services. Eastern Illinois University, Information Technology Services (ITS), wishes to engage the services of an expert in a Cisco network environment in the field of Voice Communications Systems, and Voice over IP (VoIP) to serve as a consultant in the procurement of a new state-of-the-art campus telephone system. In addition the University wishes to explore options for Video (TV) Services in the Residence Halls and certain other locations on-campus. The consultant must be able to direct and assist the University in defining and developing reachable goals for the project, analyzing current infrastructure and developing solutions consistent with the University's mission and business processes.
