This is the exemption for the electronic resources of periodicals/books available to the GSU library, as needed for academic purposes.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for periodicals and books procured for use by a university library or academic department, except for expenditures related to procuring textbooks for student use or materials for resale or rental.
