The Board of Trustees of Governors State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the roof top air conditioner purchase/installation project (Bid # 2015TMS).
Governors State University is considering replacing one or all four of its Trane roof top units with new comparable units on one building. The current Trane units have curb and unit water leaks.
The successful bidder would be responsible for replacing if necessary the roof curbing and coordinating that work directly with any sub contractors. The contractor is also responsible for: disposal of the existing units, all tie-ins electrical and sheet metal, all warranty information including roofing and the actual units. Information on optional extended warranties is also recommended.
This is to be a turnkey operation.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked roof top air conditioner purchase/installation. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, September 19, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A visit to campus is required prior to bid submission. Specifications are available only at this meeting, scheduled for 11:00AM on September 6, 2001.
