Project Description
This request is for the submission of qualifications from engineering firms to assess and design systems for specific projects. To be considered for awards on these specific projects, vendors must submit for this solicitation, regardless of any other contract or evaluation with the university. These specific projects will result in awards from only the pools of submittals received by the deadline.

Qualifications and supporting materials will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Tuesday April 29, 2008:

All firms must provide a Capital Development Board (CDB) 255 Form listing only relevant experience. Only firms with direct involvement and experience with similar projects will be considered. GSU prefers CDB prequalified firms for all projects.
Only firms with higher education experience in Illinois will be considered.� Applicable projects must be itemized and references must be provided for each.
In addition, GSU may utilize these submittals and firms for smaller related projects as well, as needed for master contracts.
Additional forms/requirements will be available for download by close of business on Friday, April 11, 2008.
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
  • Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
  • Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.

The State of Illinois has a policy to encourage prospective vendors to hire qualified veterans, minorities, females, persons with disabilities and ex-offenders.
