Project Description
GSU is bidding the construction of a student housing/apartment building, including related site improvements. The building will be a 3-story wood-frame structure totaling approximately 94,000 SF. Work includes concrete footings/foundations, concrete and brick masonry, wood framing, steel stairs, asphalt shingles, wood and hollow metal doors, residential windows, glazed storefront, mechanical systems, electrical, tel-data, plumbing, and fire protection. Site improvements include concrete and asphalt paving/walks, underground utilities, perimeter fencing, and landscaping.

General work, and all trades are defined in the specification as multiple divisions of work.

MBE/FBE contracting/subcontracting/supplier goals apply to this project.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Vendors are required to call Sue at (708)534-4056 to register in advance & receive time/location information.

Public bid openings occur at 2:30 PM CST on the applicable due date for bids.
