GSU has a periodic need for the services of a third party payer for the payment of SAG/AFTRA Union talent. GSU uses these performers in on campus productions that require specialized knowledge of the union payment process, on an as needed basis.
The company/individual would complete and file all union reports, issue checks for wages, wardrobe fees, reimbursables, etc., issue talent agents fees, pension, health and welfare payments, file state withholding tax in all required states and respond to all talent inquiries as specified by the Union contract and negotiated by the Project Director. Awarded vendor would calculate all wages based on union regulations and file the approriate federal and state wage forms, and would follow the appropriate payment schedule as specified by the Union Contract.
