Invitation for Construction Bid: Family Development Center Renovation
Due to confusion with the specifications related to the separation of the divisions of work, this bid will not be awarded.
GSU is reviewing the specifications and all amendments for clarification. The University will be rebidding this project (as a new bid number) in the near future.
Amendment #12 includes critical reminders for all sealed bids.
Amendment #11 includes reminders and office hours for delivery of sealed bids.
Amendment #10 provides the registration information for the virtual bid opening webinar on February 4, 2021.

Project Description
Located on the GSU campus, the Family Development Center (FDC) is a facility which provides an exceptional learning experience for the children of Chicagos Southland communities and accessible support for their families. Services for include children ages 0 - 12 Monday through Friday. This FDC renovation project is to replace the existing roofing system, remove greenhouse elements, and replace with a standard metal deck roof structure, new glazing system walls, rooftop units (RTUs) and lighting. The work will also include providing ducted HVAC distribution in classrooms from existing RTUs. For additional information, see the specifications and drawings.
