Invitation for Construction Bid: Prairie Place Generator
Due to the high volume of technical questions submitted for this project, the bid is being cancelled. Specifications will be reviewed, revised and reissued as a separate solicitation when approved. No further information is available at this time.
Amendment #6 contains information regarding the only additional (optional) walk thru job site. The walk thru is Monday March 21, 2022.
Amendment #5 includes the minutes and presentation from the mandatory prebid meeting. Any outstanding action items or questions will be posted as a separate amendment, when prepared.
Amendment #4 includes a change regarding an Illinois Department of Labor (IDOL) requirement that is no longer applicable to this project.
Amendment #3 includes a typed version of the sign in sheet listing all attendees who were present at the mandatory pre-bid meeting held on 03/15/22.
An incorrect room number was previously listed for the GSU Procurement Office. The Procurement Office Room Number is C-1329.
Amendment #2 includes a required form to confirm compliance with a statute related to Illinois residency requirements of laborers on public works and renovation projects during times of high unemployment.
Amendment #1 includes responses to all questions received as of 3/8/22.

This project includes the purchase and installation of a generator for the student apartment building "Prairie Place". The installation of a natural gas generator will require a concrete pad and electrical switchgear, a new natural gas line and will include all requirements as specified in the attachments and drawings.

There is a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled at 10:00AM CST (local time) on March 15, 2022. Guests are asked to report to the GSU Procurement Office C1329 approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to be redirected to the appropriate location. Late arrivals, after the meeting has convened, will not be allowed to bid the project.
