Governors State University will be relocating approximately 200 offices into a newly constructed facility in July, 2003 (dependent on construction and new furniture installation). Therefore, the University requires pricing and proposals from vendors that can supply labor and oversight to the coordinated move, sell boxes, and move furniture in identified offices.
Furniture: GSU has offices which will be relocated into the FOC, which include boxed materials, desks, chairs, file cabinets, bookcases, etc.
Proposals will only be reviewed by firms that are bonded and insured.
Vendor Responsibilities: Supply boxes as priced based on quantities and sizes ordered; Relocating boxes and furniture from one wing to the other within the main campus building; Supply labor and equipment required to move boxes & furniture (ex: carts, dollies, etc); Move all properly labeled boxes (regardless of whether they were purchased from the awarded vendor); and Coordinate an acceptable schedule in advance with the Physical Plant Operations Office.
A mandatory preproposal meeting has been scheduled for May 8, 2003. Vendors must register in advance by calling Gabrielle at 708-534-4056.
