Project Description
This request for qualifications for GSU is for potential awards for preferred vendors wishing to be considered for professional service contract awards as architects and engineering services when required.

GSU requests qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to provide information about available potential services including, but not limited to:
Architects and landscape architects
Engineers: (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire protection and civil) ;

Potential types of projects:
building rehabilitation and modifications (interior & exterior);
exterior renovation;
roofing rehabilitation;
security systems;
information technology infrastructure upgrades; and
site modifications (grounds and roads).

The responses to this solicitation will be reviewed and awarded on a section-by-section award. Certifications may be required including State of Illinois licensing of Architects and Engineers.

Potential separate contracts awarded may provide facility assessment; preparation of construction documents for bidding; assist GSU in the bidding and bid evaluation phases; and provide construction administration services including shop drawing review, on-site meetings, construction observation, and project close out as needed and requested.

These individuals will work directly with the university in coordination of projects, problem solving, and advice as needed. These awards are intended to be multiple, indefinite quantity awards, utilized if expertise is required. Evaluation on a case by case basis will depend on personnel, certifications, availability, and the ability of a firm to complete the scope of work in an efficient manner.

GSU will be pursuing a Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) process. Applicants must submit a CDB 255 form. GSU prefers applicants be pre-qualified with the Capital Development Board (CDB). The disclosure of financial interest forms must also be submitted.
