Governors State University, a 600,000 s.f. facility sited on 750 acres is seeking a graphic designer for the design and coordination of a campus-wide exterior identification signage and interior directional signage program. The designer will provide seamless integration of new and existing signage.
Awarded firm will: assess existing signage, recommend interior and exterior directional solutions for university consideration and approval, and provide drawings and specifications for future bidding of university approved signage solution. The awarded firm will also assist University staff with bid issuance, evaluation and award, therefore the design firm will be prohibited from submitting a bid for the fabrication, production, and/or installation of the work.
This solicitation is a multi-step bidding opportunity. When it is considered impracticable to initially prepare a purchase description to support an award based on price, an invitation for bids may be issued requesting the submission of unpriced initial offers to be followed by an invitation for bids limited to those bidders whose offers have been qualified under the criteria set forth in the first solicitation.
