The Oce proposal meets or exceeds all specification for the university printshop quality and production requirements. The technology utilized by the recommended product is a high volume, production unit, rather than a simplistic copier technology. When tested, visible quality differences existed when vendor's printed output were compared during user demonstrations.
This purchase will be financed using an existing IPHEC contract.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

This request for proposal is for a new installation of a digital, black and white printing system. Only new equipment will be considered. GSU may review rental or lease pricing if offered for alternate consideration.
Located in the University's print shop, this equipment must be a production unit which will be networked.
This RFP also includes service costs for this proposed equipment and potentially for the GSU fleet, if applicable.
