Terms:   The contract period is January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 (or to begin upon contract execution). One renewal exists, at the discretion of the university, for one potential three year period, dependent upon need. Initial pricing will be extended through the renewal period.

Governors State University (GSU) has determined a need to contract for the services of a financial advisor to assist with ongoing needs in financial matters related to the University's debt and capital structure. In addition, Certificates of Participation will be issued to finance facilities and equipment for which there is not established revenue source for repayment of debt.

The goal of this contract is to obtain objective financial advice to assist the University in debt issuance planning, financial analysis, and capital project acquisition planning of deferred maintenance projects over the next several years.
