Project Description
This bid is for the complete modernization of one hydraulic elevator in the "D wing" at Governors State University. The project will include controls, cab, fixtures, door equipment, pump assembly, in-ground cylinder, and related work. Related work will be the responsibility of the provider and include electrical, fire alarm, HVAC, data, and sprinklers.

A mandatory pre-bidders meeting is scheduled for January 19, 2007. All vendors wishing to receive specifications, drawings and participate in a tour, must register in advance by calling Lori at 708-534-4056.
Specifications will be available for download by the close of business on January 16th, at this web page.
All responses must include:
- Submit 5 copies of the response as defined in the specifications.
- Sealed envelopes containing the bids have the bid number and project title on the envelope.
- A letter from a surety company in substantially the form set forth in the Instructions to Bidders assuring the issuance of the performance and payment bonds.
