Governors State University is seeking bids from qualified elevator contractors to perform routine preventative maintenance on ten hydraulic elevators and one traction dumbwaiter.
It is the intent of this contract to provide pro-active preventive maintenance for the equipment covered by this agreement to facilitate the following:
  • Consistent safe operation of equipment;
  • Maximum operational performance of equipment;
  • Maximum beneficial usage of equipment; and
  • Maximum life cycle of equipment.
Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference
The University will hold a mandatory pre-bid conference on July 25, 2007.
Representatives will be present to answer questions. Prospective bidders must register in advance by calling Lisa at 708-235-7443. Bids submitted by general contractors not in attendance at the mandatory conference will not be accepted.
