Work under this contract includes the labor, materials, and equipment to furnish and install a new horizontal cabling infrastructure within the main University facility, the Outreach and Technology Building, and various other buildings at Governors State University. Other work in this contract includes the labor, materials and equipment to furnish and install a new fiber optic backbone system consisting of 40 strands of single mode fiber optic cable in a star topology for video distribution. This contract is to include the termination and testing of the copper and fiber optic cabling.
Specifications are only available at the mandatory pre-proposal meeting on Tuesday, August 1, 2000 at 8:00 am in the GSU Hall of Honors.
All vendors must call to register for the mandatory pre-proposal meeting prior to noon on July 31 to request specifications and blueprints. This all day meeting will include a tour of the entire campus, and a detailed meetings about the project requirements.
