for a computer-based student information, financial, and human resources packaged solution.

The vision of IMSA is to have a single integrated system for managing the administration of the school. This includes a single repository for all student records, from admission, through advancement. Furthermore, the HR and Financials system should be integrated with the student information such that changes in any of the three functional areas will be reflected in the other two. The application must be able to operate in an environment that provides security, recovery, and thin-client access to remote users. One of the overall goals is to implement a system rich in instant electronic communication with little dependence on the creation and movement of paper documents.
