Based upon the materials and references presented, Alford is the most appropriate choice for IMSA and this particular search, especially in a year of Presidential search and succession. Alford's price is only slightly higher than the second ranked firm and appropriate for the level of services required for this search.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy® (IMSA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide executive search firm services in the search for a Vice President for Advancement of IMSA from approximately October 1, 2006, through acceptance of an offer and placement of the candidate no later than June 1, 2007.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.

This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Illinois Department of Human Rights
(IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.
