Project Description
The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from
qualified architectural firms for assistance with Facility Master Planning Services. Interested firms shall submit a concise statement of the firm’s qualifications as requested in the Instructions for Submitting Offers.

IMSA is very much interested in partnering with an architectural firm that can bring new ideas about
educational facilities, expand our thinking about space use and create a vision and master plan that
incorporates our unique programs. The process for formulating the vision and scope of work to be
addressed is intended to be an inclusive process involving a spectrum of stakeholders representing the
extended IMSA community – from students all the way to our alumni and business partners.
All firms must submit the CDB standard form 255 (whether prequalified or not) with the submittal. (see Attached CDB 255 Form included in the Specifications Document).
Offers must be submitted per A.7 Submission of Offers. Please submit (1) one original document, (3) hard copies, and (1) CD or Other Electronic Media.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
- Submitted 4 copies of their qualifications.
- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- There is no BEP goal for this procurement.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
