This notice is published in accordance with 30 ILCS 500/25-15(b) or 44 ILL. Admin. Code 4.1525. This change order is authorized under 720 ILCS 5/33E-9 as this was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of contract signature, is germane to the original contract and in the best interest of the state. It is being published on the bulletin in accordance with 30 ILCS 500/15-25(a). The Illinois Secretary of State is giving notice of its intent to enter into a change order to extend its current contract with Henson Robinson. The original contract was awarded in the amount of $865,465. SOS posted a date extension on 12/26/2019 for no cost. While there was work remaining to be completed on this project, it was not known there would be a cost associated with the remaining work. This notice is to increase the dollar amount of the contract by $13,432.51 for a total contract amount of $878,897.51. This change order is authorized under 720 ILCS 5/33E-9 as this was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of contract signature, is germane to the original contract and in the best interest of the state. This change order is authorized by the Chief Procurement Officer and State Purchasing Officer for the Illinois Secretary of State. Please disregard all references made to the Chief Procurement Office of Higher Education.
The Chief Procurement Officer for this procurement is now Ben Bagby.
The State Purchasing Officer for this procurement is now Shirley Webb.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.
