The University is seeking Carpentry services campus-wide for projects between $5,000 and $100,000. There are residence halls, academic spaces, research spaces, administrative offices, and mechanical equipment. It is anticipated that most work will be interior, but interested vendors should be prepared to work on exterior projects as well.

Common examples of work include but are not limited to: wood and metal stud framing, window and door installation and trim, ceiling work, and hanging drywall. Mudding and patching drywall are covered by the painting trade.

Interested vendors are advised that Public Works requirements (see section 8.1) apply to all work contemplated under this RFP.

There is a vendor conference scheduled for Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00am at the Old Main conference room in Bone Student Center. 100 N. University St., Normal, IL 61761.Vendors are reminded that the pool of qualified vendors selection process is different than a standard RFP or construction bid and interested vendors are strongly encouraged to attend this conference.
