for an audio/visual system. Sealed envelopes containing the bids in duplicate will be marked College of Business Building--Audio/Visual System. Bids shall be submitted to ISU Purchasing Office, 117 Hovey Hall.

Bidders should be pre-qualified in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by the Board of Trustees as attached. Bids shall include the following:

  • Bid security (see complete bid for details).
  • A letter from a surety company in substantially the form set forth in the instructions to bidders assuring the issuance of the performance and payment bond.
  • One completed copy of the Illinois Department of Human Rights Form PC-2, entitled ?Bidders Employee Utilization Form Construction.?
  • Vendor Disclosure of Financial Interests.

Bids may not be withdrawn after the opening of bids.

Scope of Project: Provide a professionally installed system that is complete, tested and ready to use.

Completion Date: December 1, 2004.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 12, 2004, 10:00 AM local time at Facilities Planning, 608 S. Main, Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois. To submit a bid for this project, bidders must attend and their company name must appear on the official attendance log. The log will be used in the bid opening process. If your company name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
