This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the PsycINFO, PsycARTICLES, Current Contents, Mental Measurements Yearbook, and Health and Psychosocial Instruments databases are essential for the use of faculty and students in Psychology, Physics, and Nursing. No other databases provide such comprehensive access to the scholarly literature in these disciplines. In previous years, these databases were offered with the Ovid interface through the CARLI library consortium in Illinois which was a competitive bid. The Ovid interface was not offered by CARLI which necessitates that Milner license the databases directly from Ovid.
