The ISU Speech and Hearing Clinic is in existence solely as a training institution for the students majoring in Speech Pathology and Audiology. These students must complete 400 hours of client contact hours before they can receive certification in either Speech Pathology or Audiology. Therefore our clinic must be able to provide all of the diverse types of appointments that the students need. Our clinic must be able to dispense hearing aids to all clients who come to our clinic for this purpose. Each client has a unique hearing loss that can be helped with a product or products obtained from various hearing aid manufacturers.
