Illinois State University (ISU) is seeking bids to replace and increase the power of the UPS (uninterrupted power supply) to its datacenter. The approved brand of UPS is APC by Schneider Electric IT. The infrastructure of the datacenter is composed completely of components from APC/Schneider Electric. The UPS system type is essential, as it currently powers servers that host systems and applications that are necessary for many operations of ISU in the event of power failures. Components of the current UPS have come to end of life usage and are not large enough to handle the new load that is required to run our datacenter.
