The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Horton fire alarm upgrade project.
This project includes the labor and some materials to upgrade the Simplex fire alarm system in Horton. Illinois State University will provide the Simplex panels and devices.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked Horton fire alarm upgrade. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Tuesday, May 20, 2003. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 8, 2003, 1:30 PM local time at Facilites Mangement conference room, Harris Physical Plant, 600 West Gregory St. Normal, IL. If your company intends to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process. If your company name does not appear on the official attendance log, your bid will not be opened.
