The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the University Farm at Lexington waste handling improvements project (Bid # LB05210).
Improvements to the waste handling systems include liquid manure handling cells, clean out existing manure pits, install pit dividers, pit extensions for existing manure pits and return effluent pit recharge lines. Completion date is July 30, 2002.
Bidding documents may be obtained at Illinois State University Purchasing Office.
Sealed envelopes containing the bids will be marked University Farm at Lexington waste handling improvements. Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 AM local time, on Tuesday, May 21, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A mandaotry prebid meeting is scheduled for May 14, 2002, 1:30 PM local time at the Lexington Farm. This is a mandatory prebid meeting. If you are planning to submit a prime bid for this project, you must attend this meeting and your company's name must appear on the official attendance log. This log will be used in the bid opening process, and if your company's name does not appear on the log, your bid will not be opened.
